Using These Silicone Earplugs
There are a wide variety of earplugs on the market, which can make it difficult to figure out how to insert an earplug. Insertion methods vary depending on your type of ear plug.
Before you attempt to handle earplugs, make sure to Wash your hands. You do not want to expose your ears to dirt and germs. Wash your hands with soap and clean running water before using ear plugs.
Pull your ear up and back to straighten your ear canal.
Reach over your head with one hand. Grab the top of your ear and pull up and back. This will pull your ear open a bit more, which makes the plug easier to insert. Insert the plug using a rocking motion. Once you've expanded your ear canal, insert the ear plug using a gentle, rocking motion. Rock the plug back and forth to slowly push it into the canal. Keep going until you've sealed off the ear canal.
You insert these reusable silicone earplugs into your ear canal to block out water or muffle sound, with a rolling motion, insert & hold. Most of the plug should be in your canal, with a small end sticking out so you can easily remove the plug. Make sure you do not push the plug in too far. Most of the plug should be in the canal, but you should still be able to easily grab the plug with your fingertips when you need to remove it.
Cleaning and care tips: Earplugs should be cleaned by removing all earwax and contaminants prior to reinsertion. Reusable: earplugs may be washed in mild soap and warm water and allowed to air dry. Do not use any form of solvent, alcohol, and/or alcohol-based cleaners to clean earplugs. Washing may be repeated several times. Reusable earplugs should be examined for wear before each use and replaced regularly. With proper maintenance, reusable earplugs should be replaced every 2-4 weeks.
